ETD Repository@TU: A Digital Library of Theses & Dissertations of Tezpur University

"ETD Repository@TU" is a digital library of Theses and Dissertations of Tezpur University. It stands for the reservoir of Tezpur University intellectual output stored in a repository, hosted and maintained by the Central Library, Tezpur University. It provides a platform for research scholars to deposit their theses / dissertations and make it available to the entire scholarly community world-wide for open access. The ETD Repository has the ability to capture, index, store, disseminate and preserve ETDs (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) submitted by the researchers of Tezpur University only.

The ETD Repository@TU is set-up by using an open source digital repository software called DSpace developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in partnership between Hewlett- Packard (HP). The DSpace uses internationally recognized protocols and inter-operability standards. DSpace supports "Open Archives Initiative's Protocol for Metadata Harvesting" (OAI-PMH) and uses a qualified version of the Dublin Core schema for its metadata. The repository has also created its own metadata in accordance with INFLIBNET Shodhganga.
